Northlink Ferries currently operate out of Scrabster Harbour providing a lifeline link with the Orkney Islands.

Facilities at Scrabster: |

| Parking: | available at Scrabster harbour - costs : £2.50 for one day up to 8 hours, £5 overnight. |
| Drop off: | passengers with luggage, less abled passengers can drop off at the passenger terminal building on the new pier prior to parking their cars. |
| Terminal Building: | Newly completed for 2004 a modern terminal building, with Passenger Walkway onto the ferry. |
